Not exactly. The main reason why BCCI have decided to send a young team to Bangladesh is to assess the talent and potential of young players available, so as to induct them in the team when the senior players are phjased out from the team in course of time. They may not get an ideal opportunity for the same than the tour to Bangladesh.

Senior players are not only one guily of poor show, it's Team.
When you are in field , Senior or Junior does not matter. The player's game matters. Senior players should be more resposible but this is TEAM which failed. Seniors should not be blamed only.
BCCI should send a young team to Bangladesh but not under
Captainship of Rahul, but some young like Kaif. Bangladesh is good young team and BCCI or selectors will have chance to see their(younger players) performance.
A perfect team should have both young and senior players.

BCCI decided on this approach because they need the time to put their new young players to the test in an international arena. They chose the bang. tour becase that team is still considered one of the minor teams in the world at the moment but yet they are a very good team... good enough to send a big team home from the WC and big enough to test the new players that are looking to be capped for their country.

Let me put in this way. I remember that our politicians in Bangladesh would quote a few famous Indian examples whereby they would say that such and such Indian Ministers resigned their posts after such and such accidents or scandals or debacles occurred under their leadership. What an example of integrity!
Now that Indian Cricket team lost matches in ICC WC Cricket-2007 and one of those defeats were at the hands of such a novice team - Bangladesh, I think some element of guilt would make these senior/veteran players from openly coming out so soon and start playing against Bangladesh on its soil. My premise for this assumption is that, say for any reason the Indians would loose matches (ODI and/or the Test) then what these senior/veteran players would have left to explain if they were included?
So, why not give these senior/veteran players some time to recuperate from their wound and let the fresh Indian bloods be tested against Bangladesh young dominated team. These Indian young players under the able leadership of a new Captain may show miracles too as they would have a lot of expectation and zeal to perform better.
Of course, the top echelon of Indian senior/veteran players may loose some sponsorship money in the process but that is nothing in compare to the passion of Indian fans that would whip them in rest of their lives if they fail to perform or repeat ICC WC-2007 performance.
We are eagerly waiting to see the proposed Indo-Bangla ODI and Test matches next month. Good Luck to all the players!

thoroughly accept as true with him. you won't be able to blame the sea if a Blue Whale is responsible for a shipwreck. Neither IPL governing council nor the BCCI is responsible for the participant's off filed habit. Its like putting forward you a favor a cop for each citizen contained in the country so as that the cop ought to ascertain that the man's no longer doing something incorrect.

If BCCI will send younger player for Bangla Desh Tour, then I am afraid this time we will not only lose in the One day, but in Test series also for the first time in Banla Desh.

Yes see, they are not at all concentrating at the game. If the captain had allowed young ones like Sreesanth at the world cup to play, they would play seriously because to get fame. By this way India would have continued But now theyshould go get a chance, and the Senoirs should realise their mistake and allow young ones to play

The main guilty was Captain Rahul Dravid. But surprisingly he retained the captaincy and the senior players, who has served the country with their blood and sweat, have been blamed. How funny.
