It's a plant's root system rather than its top-growth that dictate when it needs repotting (although the two are linked, of course!)
Pick up a few of the pots and have a look through the drainage holes at the bottom of the pots. If tomato roots are beginning to peep out, it means that your plants' rootballs are now filling the pot and it's time to give them more space.
From experience, I'd expect your tomatoes to be ok till they're a bit bigger, assuming they're in the usual 3-inch pots most nurseries sell them in.

decrease it off..nutrition a minimum of as quickly as a month..water while necessary and you'd be on your thank you to a BLT appropriate away.Beefsteak is my popular tomato..we live interior the Ohio vally area and improve those each 12 months.final 12 months 3 plant life produced over 450 tomatoes...MMMMMM..They do take a sprint longer to start getting fruit yet..a style rather well worth the wait.reliable success.

At 2-3 inches high, they should be in 3" deep pots. If they're not, repot them now otherwise they might become potbound.

They are best in grow bags if you have the room. If not bigger pots would be best.
Keep them free of frost for now as well.

Either or will work. Won't hurt if you repot them now, just will give them more room to spread their roots out. Once they get about 6" tall I'd definitely repot them. They will be a little more hardy though once they reach about 6" tall.

Let them grow a bit more, just so they won't be so fragile when transplanting. 6-8" is good.
