Greg Oden. The reason is simple - he's a seven footer whose got size, can run the floor and has great defensive skill. There just aren't too many 7' players with his kind of athleticism. When you are building a team you always start from the basket and work your way out - that means get a good center. He doesn't have to score, but he has to play defense and control the paint. Oden controlled the paint against the best in the NCAA this last year.

I would take Oden. You don't find a quality 7 footer just anywhere. And a legitamite center, a guy who wants to play center. Especially in today's NBA. Many 7 footers are taking their games outside (Nowitki) but this kid wants to play inside.

Not only that, but the kid can shoot free throws with either hand? That means even if you break one of his hands again, he can still shoot better than Shaq or Duncan from the line! There is nothing but upside from Oden, and you can't question that.

Durant should be a quality player. He seems a lot like Rashard Lewis. But he is a wing player, he doesn't seem to want to bang in the post.

There is a risk with any rookie, but I'll take Oden anyday....

Depends on what my team needs. In the NBA though, Centers are much more valuable and harder to come by than swingmen. So 9times outta 10 you have to go with the bigman. So I'd go Oden because who knows how long it'll be before another legit 7foot center is available.

No one.

You telling me I have a choice of two players who've never won anything? No thank you!

I'd sell the first pick to the highest bidder, pocket the cash and sail off into the sunset. The rigors of the NBA get to you after a while.

Kevin Durant without a question.
Better skills at this point than Oden and could make
a more immediate impact. I also think he has as much
potential as Oden too.
