In the 70's, Barry Manilow wrote the McDonald's jingle for their "You Deserve a Break Today" campaign. Here's the lyrics:

I forget it too the other day. Luckily I turned on the radio at the right time, and suddenly I hear this song by this band called mechanical bleach and I scractch my head and think, "I've never heard of this band!" So, I listen to this all female band and they sounded a lot like the spiffy girls. Anyways to spare you the drama for your ma ma, this girl band sings this song about Mcdonald and it went like this: " I go eat my bread and butter undercover at the good ole ronald mcdonalds, and I order me some chips and some gravel and I clunk and chunk it all down and let the meat grinder digest it all, and me and my girls are ready to go to the rock and roll shop to put out the music, but one of the girls gets such a heart burn over those mcdonald fries that she passes gas for the longest that we had to sue ronald mcdonald the clown for being so fake.!!!" After I heard that song I said to my wife, "Honey, me and you won't be going back to mcdonalds again!" And now we only eat at beanie and cecils chili chips and jumping jelly beans and mexican bean dessert.
