I have a 130BHP Skoda Octavia 1.9D and a fully chipped Fabia VRs. The Octavia is a great day to day car. I had it from new and in 3 years have done 105,000 miles. It still gives me 58+ miles per gallon on a run. What can I say about the VRs other than "Fantastic". It is quicker than most other vehicles I have put it up against (yes, that does include the Golf GTi) due to it's tremendous acceleration on 2nd and 3rd gear. If you have not tried one yet, do so. £ for £ it's the best buy in the small sporty car section.
