I think I was about three and on holiday in Devon. I had a pixie cup (thick plastic red cup with white spots on it) and I went on a ladybird ride at the fair.

When I was no older than a 18 months I climbed out of my cot and walked to the top of the stairs and then rolled down the entire flight of stairs all the way to the bottom. I can even remember the look of horror on my mums face when she ran out of the living room into the hall, to see me sat at the bottom of the stairs laughing!

I can remember watching someone putting a gate on the bottom of a stone set of stairs that ran up the side of the house and onto the roof and thinking that I wouldn't be able to go up them! (Which was obviously my parents' intenetion!) It was when we first moved abroad so I was about 2½.

Flaming great teddy bear. It was so big it scared me, must have been 4' tall.
I can remember I didn't like it, kept throwing it down the stairs.
Must have been about 5 or 6 at the time.

The first thing I remember is laying with my head in my mothers' lap, while she rubbed my head until I fell asleep.
I also remember how very soft the skin on her face was and how she always smelled of a perfume called Tabu`. I still wear it now, tho' it is not very popular. It keeps her close.

The lounge in a house we left when I was only 4 months old - I can describe it perfectly, my mum is always amazed because I have a terrible memory - and they have no photos of the lounge (it was nearly 40 years ago)

I did not like hats. My mummy had a hard time try-ing to get me to put on one, before we all left to go to a large community picnic ; a teenage girl observing the scenario, thought it very amusing. I would wear a hat now, especially on a very hot summer's day. My brother did not like a hat neither, and I believe that he still does not like them. One of his daughters, my niece, seems not to like hats either ; mummy said so ; she threw hers away through the car- window, several years ago, when she visited us with her dad, my brother and her mother and sister.

I was about 2 or 3 and thought that the cat was so cool because it was digging a hole, so I picked it up and it **** on me.
It was digging a hole for a reason.
It was a yellow cat.
