i REALLY need an answer!!!

First thing u must know is that both are very high, like hills or mountains.

Ridges are like mountains, but are long and have no peak. hey are called elongated mountains.

whereas a plateau has a flat top, almost like a table. an example is the deccan plateau in India.

Ridge is like a peak put , put these peaks in a line and you have something similar to the teeth in a saw easily remembered by the Spanish word " sierra " , Sierra Madres = Mother mountains which resemble a saw .
Plateau , used by the frogs for eating French people , probably the most famous "plate" mountain in the world would be " Table Top Mountain " which overlooks the city of Capetown in South Africa

A ridge can be a long trailing line of the top of a set of hills of varying heights. where a plateau is an expanse all the same general height.
