The thing is that we don't know if we ever will have peace. You know that song Imagine by John Lennon? That is a perfect song about a perfect world that if we try hard enough (all of the people in the world together) we could do it!

First you need to properly define "peace". Most people think peace is a lack of conflict. This is an inadequate definition. Real peace is a lack of threat. There are several ways real peace can be accomplished. You can remove the threat, you can become so powerful no one would dare threaten you or you can surrender and let those who threaten have their way.

Will peace prevail? One way or the other.
