I hate the Carrie Underwood version, and couldnt stand to hear it. Then heard Lakisha sing it and loved the song! And Im not religous at all. Couldnt believe she was getting bad marks from the judges.

Also, I like Ryan Adams version of the Stars go Blue so much, plus that Tim McGraw did it too, then by the time Blake did it, thought it couldnt hold up.

I thought it was her worst performance yet. I think it was the wrong song for her, she needed a song that she could use her big powerful voice on.

I didn't like Lakisha's version of the song at all. Like the judges said, it sounded like she was yelling through part of it. She has definitely performed better!

My favorite version of "When the Stars Go Blue" is the one with Bono and The Corrs. It actually came out before the Tim McGraw version but after Ryan Adams' original, of course. I thought Blake did pretty well with the song, though it wasn't my favorite performance by him.

I did not like Lakisha's version at all...she did not do the song justice... Carrie Underwood is a way better performer than Lakisha (in my opinion) And to me the judges where on point with their critique ... it did seem as though she was shouting toward the end of the song...

oddly enough... I really liked Phil's performance... and I am NOT a phil fan at all... but country seems to be his "thang"

I'm sorry, but "Jesus, Take The Wheel" should only be sung by Carrie Underwood. LaKisha MURDERED that song last night. The judges were right to give her bad marks for it. LaKisha's voice is too deep and soulful to do a song by a country, high-toned girl like Carrie. There were plenty of things she could have sung that would have fit her voice perfectly but she seems like the type of person who wouldn't like country music too much and just went for one by another Idol to make it easy.

I liked LaKisha's performance but she sang it too loud, it sounds better sung by Carrie. Liking the song has nothing to do with being religious. I really liked Blake's version of "When Stars Go Blue." Sanjaya sucked, it was his worst performance yet. Melinda was amazing.

Her performance was rather bland. The power vocals couldn't save the song either. She just can't sing country. The song doesn't connect to her at all. Hope she won't get voted out. Would love to see her perform songs of her strength. Go Lakisha!!!

Wow, you actually thought it was good? :) I couldn't stand what she did to that song, she is a decent singer, but she really was pitchy, I said it while she was singing and knew at least Randy would point it out.

She was really out of tune for a lot of it. But if you like her, you'll be more inclined to forgive things like that:)

I feel Blake should win, b/c I think he has the best shot at actually being popular like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood and even Clay Aiken.

I think if Lakisha or Melinda win, they'll be forgotten in no time, like Fantasia and Reuben.

I didn't like it. That song needs to be sung with sincerity and feeling and I really felt it was lacking. Also, I can't stand to watch Lakisha sing, her mouth really bothers me.

I liked her version of the song. I wasn't familiar with it, but she sounded good. It seems as if they are way more critical now. LaKisha looked very pissed off at their comments. She seemed real unhappy. I still think she is one of the best on the show.
