Scrap Council tax and replace it with more of a poll tax.
How you can justify the same charges for 2 people living in a house as 6 people is beyond me.
Failing that one, scrap road tax and up fuel duty. The more you drive, the more you pay.

good question. It is impossible to legislate on moral and social behaviour effectively,think about the prohibition laws in early 20th c america and our own ASBO system,drug laws and sexual offence legislation so I find this a hard one to approach but with that out of the way I think it would have to be something that DID affect the majority of our society,what causes the most anguish?what causes the most problems?The slow decline in our society from the view point of the next generation would appear to be caused by the generation of today that allows this to happen,in other words we are responsible for the betterment of all our futures and for those not yet born.some have said that we do not inherit the world from our ancestors but borrow it from our children.this is a concept i can relate to.so my law would be" To enshrine in all societies the rights of our childrens futures"
I say this because if you study our legislative past you will notice that all our laws are based on things that have happened,knee jerk reactions etc.a favourite saying of mine is "shortsighted men of great vision are usually in charge"

people who are cruel to animals or abuse them would get fined $10,000 and jail time .
the way it is now people can torture animals to death and just get away with it , no fines no nothing its ridiculous and sickening .
