Gobos are stage-lighting tool... usually stainless steel or copper sheets with a design cut into them: light is passed thru the design via a lighting-instrument (elipsoidal or parallel) and projected onto a surface.

CUSTOM gobos... we used to cut our own... or modify those we'd purchase thru a theater-supply house.

Did a search for Gobos, Custom / Theatrical / lighting supplies, and here are the results:

What's a gobo?

Thanks robert! I used to have a flaslight that had a cutout of a pumpkin for halloween time. It fit over the lense... different, I know, but that's what it reminds me of... LOL
