I might have found the answer.

"They are exactly like drive-by shooters, they pull up to a congested area, they spray a hail of bullets into the crowd. It causes mass hysteria, confusion, mistakes, and misinterpretation, sometimes people and their careers actually die, and then the drive-by media smirks and they ride away, unnoticed in the excitement. They're never blamed, they're never held accountable."

It's in reference to media making snap judgment calls in reporting news by just a casual glance. Facts are often wrong but corrections never made. Reporters need to do more digging of facts and be unbiased in their reporting.

Who cares? If there was ever a commentator who should be removed it's that Nazi gasbag. He's an arrogant moron who makes his living inflaming the baser passions of his audience.

maybe he means "drive-by" shooting, when you drive an automobile down a street then shoot a people.
