twice i have had answers that were non-threating and non-profane flagged as violations and removed. how about a public forum of top contributors to read the questions and answers and decide if the answerer, the questioner, or the FLAGGER should be removed.
perhaps another forum were one might debate the FLAGGER?
and libs just because you can't come up with an intellegent response dont flag the rest of us out. unless its the only way you know of course.
perhaps i should say sayonarra now.

Hi John,
I think people have problems discerning what's offensive.
Asking a question that differs from your opinion should not be reported.
Asking a question filled with slurs and hate speech should be reported.
Another reason could be trolls. Trolls just don't have anything better to do then to report people.
Keep asking, John, we need more people like you asking real questions.

You are mistaken. It is not just Liberals who report people. Conservatives do it too. But, only a few do it at all. Liberals get reported and suspended just as much as Conservatives do. I know, because I am a Liberal who lost my YA account, and my email account. I had 9958 points at the time, and I have personally never reported any one for any reason whatsoever! This happened just recently, on April 8th. So, anyone who says it is all liberals or all conservatives is mistaken. There are just a few out there, who want to spoil everyone else's fun! *sm*

To be fair, I don't think that is true. I slam Libs almost every day and only rarely get a violation. I think it has happened three times in the last year. So, while you can't stop one cyber stalker with a chip on his shoulder, as a group, I don't think it is happening.

Trust me on this: it goes both ways.
It pisses me off no matter which side does it. I had questions constantly deleted over the weekend and they actually deactivated one of my accounts. I didn't say anything inappropriate, didn't use racial slurs, or even swear for that matter.
The *only* time I ever report people is when they use racial slurs.
If you can't handle discussing politics and would rather try to silence people than tackle an issue head on"

Why does ANYONE do that? I don't understand why people even waste their time flagging answers they don't like. I flag answers that are either filled with hate speech, racial slurs, or spam...and even then it seems like I've spent more time than I'd like flagging.
Oh well, I guess it makes some people feel empowered.

The Radical Liberals attempt to censor the opposing side. Look at Imus, and now I've heard numerous people saying they want Rush etc banned next. Freedom of speech. The greatest thing about this country is freedom to have an opinion. I cherish mine. It spurs healthy debate and leads to an understanding of both sides. If you don't like it, go to most Middle Eastern countries, they only allow one opinion, Mohammeds. If you disagree you're killed. Try selling your "opinions" to areas infected with salafism, wahabbism etc.

It happens to everyone. I have had several removed because some conservatives could dish it out but, they couldn't take it. Both sides have crybabies.....I think they need to add a pacifier to the thumbs up or thumbs down so if every one thinks they are whining, they can give them a pacifier.

Ever read George Orwell's "1984"?
It's thought and speech control at its vilest!
Liberals flag answers they don't like in order to control the debate because they either don't really understand it, or they don't care about the opinions of others if they differ by one iota from theirs!
AND they give the thumbs down to anybody who points this out to them!
