yes correct the unexpected becomes expected but only as an EVENT... the actual incident is NOT expected

But if your expecting the unexpected as a word and not as an actual expected/unexpected thing, and dont know what the unexpected is i suppose it would still be unexpected but if your expecting the unexpected and ponder all sorts of things which could be unexpected and then the thing you pondered happened that could be thought of as expected, it depends how you define unexpected and expected. or how you think about the unexpected, I dont think you can truely expect the unexpected because by the definition unexpected means that you have not expected so if you expect something that is expected but you cant expect something that is unexpected because you havent expected it.

no, because no matter what you tell yourself, you never really expect the unexpected. therefore when it comes, it was still unexpected and jusat as much of a surprise.
