I had heard a news report stating that Asian students asked for and recieved special police protection to save them from percieved retaliation attacks. I am just trying to find out if this is true and if threats have been made.

If anyone threatens an Asian student in the wake of this terrible incident, then they are almost as bad as the bloke who carried the whole thing out.

I have heard of no such thing. Who would threaten Asian students because of the actions of one? All I have seen is public vigils where all students come together to grieve. The very thought annoys me. No one has malice toward any group of people except the usual boneheaded suspects.

I work with many Asian and especially Korean people in the High Tech world and they are fine people. All are deeply saddened and feel shamed that one of their heritage would do such an evil thing. I explain that they have nothing to be ashamed of. He was just another deeply disturbed young man. It makes no difference what race, color or religion he was.

That is just so sad. How can people be so ignorant to judge all people of a certain race based on the actions of a crazy person? I hope it is not true.

I can understand why they should since I've heard so many racist comments about Asians since the shooting.

They should be, since the North Korean shooter was the murderer and his parents, who more than likely own a dry cleaner store, have fled to Pyongyang. And what is up with Ishmael Axe? I do believe I smell IslamoFascism here.
