Students in the last few years have suicided by hanging themselves in DORMS, overdosing in DORMS, jumping of the roof of their DORMS and now a shooter that started in a DORM.
Wake up people, it is DORMS that causes this. We need to have dorm control and now. Maybe a background check or a 30 day cooling off period. Surveillence cameras in all the rooms. If we save just one child it is worth the loss of privacy.

Let's make dorms illegal. They were co-ed dorms, incidentally.
I knew nothing good would come from co-ed dorms.

Obviously we need a complete moratorium on Dorms,a complete ban,they are killing our children. Where are our leaders when our children need their protection the most? Suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students,yet our politicians do nothing!!

You must blame it on the parents, they sent their kids off to college to start with. You can blame everything on the parents. Criminals use it as a defense every day.

why stop at dorms, we should monitor people in their homes, everyone should wear locators, we should have checkpoints at every state border.
