I'm not sure what country you live in, but in the USA, machine guns are legal as there is no federal law banning them. While they can only be transferred with BATFE authorization, it is routinely given and thousands of civilians own machine guns legally. As far as I know, there have only been two cases of civilians using legally owned machine guns to murder someone since 1934.
Since guns are readily available, and gun control laws are unlikely to prevent crime, it is up to society to convince its people to obey the law by other means.

Well...In my country it's extremely hard to get a guns license (mental tests ,high school education needed ,a lot of money , course for operating with firearm and proof that you actually need a gun /you have a LTD for example / needed) and crimes with guns are extremely rare (I remember 5 cases in the last 2 years ...they were ordered kills) ...
If someone wants to shoot - there are enough shooting ranges .. In my city (capitol) there are about 10. Well...4 of them are actually big and well equip ... Children may shoot under instructor's supervision
What I meant is that there's need everyone to own a gun ...Even it's better no one to ... Like in Great Britain ...If you want to shoot - go into the military or in the shooting range ...
PS: I like guns ,I play Airsoft ,I've shot many times at the shooting range (despite that I'm 16) but I see so many idiots on the streets and if I imagine that this guy might wear a gun....

using stats from the BATF, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (you're saying explosives) is way stupid as this employer of the U. S. authorities has been lower than scrutiny for decades and has been slated to be eliminated via many in Congress for decades because of that's (BATF) abuses and intense exceeded activities in route of lawful voters. i ought to somewhat believe stats from the different employer than the single (BATF) you so expertly have chosen. undergo in recommendations the dep. Dravidian's, it replaced into the BATF that went to the Waco, Tx. ranch and chosen a frontal attack somewhat than to capture David Koresh on the line or on the city. The BATF is an fairly aggressive or perhaps risky regulation enforcement employer that has lengthy outlasted that's (BATF) constructive position in as we talk's US society. Is that a knock at my door I hear, oh heck the BATF would not knock, they in basic terms crash proper in!

Sounds good to me.
However instead of consentrating on guns perhaps we should look to things which kill more people than guns first. You know so we can get the biggest killers first.
Automobiles
Water
Fires
Household cleaning supplies
Illegal Drugs
Alchohol
Fast Food(according to the CDC)
Ted Kennedy
All these things except for the last kill more people every year than guns. Perhaps we should be focusing of the bigger killers first.

Everyone has fists, and still there are fights aren't there?
You'll just be giving people more effective means of hurting others.
You're saying you want toddlers to have guns? Love-struck jealous 15-year old teenagers to have guns? Crazy, senile, poorly-sighted old people to have guns?
You're an idiot.

I'm sorry but there is no way I could ever support gun laws that lax.
I don't want my 7-yr old getting ticked off at me and putting a bullet through my forehead because I can't say I'm sorry.

I hope your comments are intended to be satirical. I agree that people should be allowed to carry guns, but not criminals, crazies and kids.
