Most of the times if I'm in a "down" mood a happy song just makes me sick (not literally) & I'm quick to turn it off.
It's kind of weird. When I'm sad, I want to hear sad songs. When I'm happy, I want to hear happy songs.

Some sad song can make me cry hysterically like wind beneath my wings but afterwards I feel brand new lol nothin like a good cry......

i think some people need an aid to express their true feelings and sad songs enable this, once its all out they feel better
