Depends what you like in games....
Okami is THE game to get if you like games like Zelda. You play as the goodess of the sun, who is in the body of a wolf. Game play is very Zelda like, but Zelda doesn't include the divinde brush!
Dragon Warrior 8 is a GREAT traditional RPG. Truely epic old-school game play with new-school graphics. Simple, complex, and challenging all at the same time!
Rouge Galaxy (or Dark Cloud 2 if you can find it) rock the action RPG house.
Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories is a strategy RPG with literally hundreds of hours of possible gameplay!

You should pick up Devil May Cry (the original one). The gameplay is borderline orgasmic, the graphics are so insane, and nothing was spared. You play as a gothic demon hunter and fight some of the scariest freaking monsters and ghosts I've ever seen in a game. The soundtrack is so intense and very energizing. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS GAME!!!
