Jimmy Carter won his for supporting IslamoFascism, so yes the award is a sham. Arafat won one for christsake and they nominated Tookie Williams. The award is crap.

this is because of the fact the Nobel Peace Prize has substitute into political in nature, to boot as a shaggy dog tale. Jimmy Carter is interior the same club as Yasser Arafat, and Gorbachev. be conscious somebody like Pope John Paul II wasn't even relatively seen.

Jimmy Carter is a damn good man and has done a lot of good things for people! He deserved the Nobel Peace Prize!
If you ever do anything that gives you one, considering your attitude it probably would be a sham! ('J').

Don't forget the Peace Prize for Yassir Arafat. Wouldn't you be in high cotton with those two!

So did Arafat. It does not seem to be something to aspire to.

Just to explain the spin in your other answers, he gave the military an 11.5 % raise but the inflation rate was 13%. He negotiated a treaty between Egypt and Israel and we see how much good that has done for Israel.

I agree with you. Carter was one of the worst Presidents we ever had and now he's shooting his mouth off and creating more problems in the Middle East.

Why do you feel it is a sham. You don't believe he has done a lot of good. Didn't you find it strange that the hostages were released right after Reagan took office?

Not that I am fond of Carter for many reasons
but he did alright in the Egypt Israel treaty
