Those who already own guns can keep their guns? And that when they die, they go back to be owned by the state?

(JFK wanted to ban guns and look what happened...)

Guns would be carried by police, security, and soldiers, like where I live. It really could work out. Guns were banned in my country after a war (when a lot of people already had guns to start with). Sigh.

Okay that is a great idea, but what is there to stop the guns beenning sold in the black market. It is true that a gun in the wrong hand is dangerous. But banning them will only open a black market, what we need to do is to screen and test people to see if they are fit to use a gun and only then they will get a license to use a gun, but still have the guns lock up in the shooting gallery's locker. And the only once who can carry a gun round are special police units and soldiers, everyone else can only have their guns in the shooting gallery.

JFK was wrong! Some types of guns are illegal and criminals still get them. Same thing with drugs.

Not a good deal my friend..Making someone priviledged to own a gun is not the American way...we all have a right to own a gun unless our past (criminal records) keep us from doing so..

If guns were illegal there would be more crime. If you try to rob me I will shoot you.
