This is why I quit worshipping government, years ago.

By the way, according to the iceberg principle, seventy percent of everything is unseen.

We only see thirty percent of the corruption that actually occurs within our government. What might that other seventy percent include?

Yeah, if OJ and others weren't rich and famous, they would have already been executed. I know what you are talking about, our society will not progress until we get rid of this double standard IMO.

I’m not sure it’s two sets of laws as much as I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine. And it is done everywhere in the world. Religions have it – lending with higher interest to those of another religion, some farmers do it – trade/barter rather than sell and pay taxes. In the government – they take care of one another, whether it is the police or military or government services people. Do you think that the people who work at DMV or whatever it is called in your state wait in line with you for drivers license renewals or registrations? It happens all the time – this just happens to be in the spotlight to the possible (though I am not sure about that) embarrassment of those concerned.
