Given that in reading past articles about him he has stood as a strong proponent of seat belt usage, and then gets seriously hurt in an accident where he wasn't wearing a seat belt.

I'm sorry he got hurt, but what gives with Dems. They do things like stroke the global warming debate, then burn more fossil fuels than anybody. They tout honesty and integrity and then have their own lying to federal grand juries and the FBI, and also getting caught with bribe money in their freezers then do nothing about it.

Unless your were born yesterday, and haven't yet opened your eyes, its not about political party, its about the powerful feeling they are untouchable.
Both side will cheerfully, yea ecstatically cite chapter and verse on the other sides scandals, and integrity problems.
They can do this because both sides have them.
They have them because people in power have no more moral compass the lady at the school cafeteria who spits in your lunch. The pols just spit in your face and avoid the mystery meat.
There are some good men and women in office, people who do try but they can be ruined by the gossip that we are all too eager to hear.
Its a tough world out there, don't get caught up in the typical name-the-party game.

Corzine is a typical privileged hypocrite. He is too good for what is required of the rest of us, and he feels he is free to flaunt his position to his own benefit and the detriment of the rest of us. In that automobile accident he got just a bit of what he deserved, although it was not nearly enougn.

Corzine's arrogance caused the accident. Trying to be a hotshot, his state police driver was violating all sorts of laws. He was doing 91 mph in a 65 mph zone, and was illegally flashing the emergency lights on his vehicle to get other cars out of the way, and this is what caused the accident. I hope the other drivers involved in this mayhem will sue that rat-bastard for tens of millions, and no amount of pain and suffering Corzine endures would be sufficient restituion for his bullying of innocent citizens.

It's time to put an end to the damage to others caused by arrogance and egoism of this this this this... I am at a loss for words...

Unfortunately too many 'lawMAKERS', especially those who have the money to buy elections, want to dictate to the rest of us how to live but they feel privileged and do not think they have to live by the same standards.

He is very fortunate that he did not kill or maim others going 91mph in a 65mph zone.

If they make the laws and then break them, their penalty should be twice what an average citizen has to pay.

In any event, I hope he heals and matures from this experience.

I bet he be wearing that seat belt next time.
And what gave him the right to drive 91 MPH just to get to a meeting, when people are responding to a fire call they are given 10 mph over the speed limit and that is it. But hay it was Imus and the Rutgers girl basketball team that makes it OK they are more important than loss of life emergency's.

Yes. He has paid a hefty price for his arrogance. Perhaps he learned something?

I hope he makes a full recovery. It is time to reassess the proceedures of the Executive Protection Unit in NJ. The current proceedures nearly killed the executive they were trying to protect.

I am sorry sir this occurred. As I am my self safety conscious but still forget to belt up at times due to human factor known as forgetfulness. So please do not be too harsh on any body who has momentarily lapsed.
