i used to call it pop, now i call it soda... when i was younger i moved and everyone made fun of me for calling it pop

I live in southern Mississippi and like alot of things, we just do things @ssbackwards. We don't call it soda or pop. We call it Coke. Everything is a Coke. When someone asks to please get them a Coke from the store, we ask which kind? The answer could be rootbeer or pepsi. Go figure.
If I had to choose, I would say Soda.

I take the easy route and just say "Coke" Soda pop works too.
