I support seat belts.

Oddly, I can't think of one family friend who does NOT wear seat belts. Thank God that decent people are good influences on our kids.

How could a Dem vote to make you wear a seat belt and then break the law?

Typical elitist liberal, just like good old Princess Diana, after all the only reason she's dead is because she didn't want to wrinkle her dress while her driver did 100 mph to keep her from having her picture taken. "Oh the horror!!" and here we have another example of the attitude that the laws are just for the little people, but he has learned an important lesson. The seat belt law may not apply to him,but on the subject of that sudden stop at the dashboard he's just like all the rest of us. In short he deserved what he got, even though we the taxpayers will have to pay the medical bills for this idiot for the rest of his life. How much is he up to by now,$100,000, $200,000??

The law in Australia states that the driver is responsible for the safety of all occupants, including that of wearing seat belts. If you are pulled over by the police and they are not, then not only do they get a fine, the driver also does. So in short yes.

The seat belt law was around a lot longer than Corzine.

He's an idiot for not wearing one.
