For example, there is that paradox that says, the distance between two points can be divided infinitely.

Common counters to this that I have seen are:
"as the distance decreases, so does the time it takes to travel the distance"
-so what? lol I don't understand what difference that makes, as time can also be infinitely divided!

"if you keep dividing infinitely, the sum of all the individual pieces will add up to the total distance"

-You say you divide infinitely, but if you divide infinitely then there will be an infinite number of pieces, and no matter what you do with infinity, you still end up with infinity. Infinity minus infinity is infinity. Infinity plus infinity is infinity. Infinity plus one is still infinity!

That answer is a paradox! It says that there are an infinite amount of divisions yet a finite amount of pieces.

Can anyone give a logical answer why the zeno paradox isn't really a paradox?

To the person who said
"If you divide time or distance a point will be reached where the next division will result in zero."

But we haven't found a limit to how much we can divide a distance to have we? People used to think atoms were the smallest things, and now we are finding even smaller things(string theory for example).

But even if there was a limit to the smallness of matter, what about distance, and time? Are they finite or not?

If you divide something up an infinite number of times, the size of each piece will be infinitesimal. You may consider the 'infinite smallness' to cancel out the infinite number of pieces, leaving you with what you started with. But beware of infinity in mathematics- it can't really handle it.
For example, 7 divided by infinity, multiplied by infinity is what?
If you cancel out the two infinities, you get 7. But if you multiply 7 by infinity, you get infinity. If you then divide it by infinity, you have infinity divided by infinity, which is 1. So is the answer 7, or 1? The answer is simply that you can't use infinity in maths.

The divisions can be small but they must be finite and are limited.
Infinity is a mathematical concept and has no place in reality.

There is no such true value as "infinity". It's a theoretical value only, and there is no such physical property as an infinite number of pieces of anything. It's not a paradox because the assumption of being able to divide something into an infinite number of pieces is false.

I already regarded at Zeno's Paradox of action about strolling to a door and that one has to bypass halfway and halfway back (a million/2, a million/4, a million/8), etc. ~~~ you've it somewhat backwards. it isn't a paradox except it conflicts without empirical 'senses' and 'recommendations' which isn't a real philosophical paradox. He has shown, and quantum physics is of the same opinion, that 'action' isn't conceivable. 'action' and the 'time' it takes in straightforward words exist as 'theory'! as a fashion to 'bypass' everywhere, you're able to bypass far, yet you won't be able to because you need to bypass 0.5 that, first, etc etc... for this reason, logically, 'lotion' isn't conceivable! wise monkey, that Zeno! each second of existence exists Now! "The guidelines of Nature are not any more guidelines controlling the metamorphosis of what's, into what is going to be. they're descriptions of varieties that exist, by surprise... " - Genius; the existence and technology of Richard Feynman All 'eternity' straight away; Now!! there is in straightforward words one second (Planck second; 10^-40 3/sec; "in basic terms about" 1000000000 trillion trillion trillionths of a 2d!!!) of the coolest purchase of existence/truth/the Universe! All existence, ever, is one, actually, 'undying' second! Now! Zeno replaced into spot on! Ego won't be able to swallow such an glaring contradiction gladly, because ego is 'theory' also! Scientifically, philosophically, 'action' and 'time' are not any more conceivable! both exist as 'theory', even with the actuality that! each thing exists! sturdy Zeno!!

I can debunk it quite easily. Stand in front of me and I will throw an egg at your forehead; guranteed it will hit and break. ... need I say more ??? The paradox is a mental game and not a statement of reality.
