BTW, if you do not believe in a higher power, that is your right and choice.
But I belive in God and asking a legitimate question based on the understanding that God exsists.

Hi. I am in China. I think I have found the ultimate truth of the Bible and the darkest secret of all time----and hope it helps to answer your question:

When you play a computer game, do you want to play a very easy game? What fun can you get from that? You will get bored soon. The bestsellers are all tough games.

If we were sinless, our existence wouldn't be so challenging anymore. We would get bored. If it was easy to become Christlike, after that( sanctification), what would be our purpose of life (after we fulfil the purpose of life so easily)? Our existence would become goalless and meaningless. Simply because God created Satan to tempt Adam and Eve to sin, it takes tremendous efforts for us to get rid of the sin and fight against the devil. We must make a lifetime commitment. In this tough game, we can't win easily, and therefore, will never stop and will never get bored until we die.

Don't you think God deliberately injected sin to Adam and Eve’s hearts through Satan’s hands? They didn't “betray” God, instead, God knew, predicted, and allowed them to betray. He designed their betrayal. Let’s thank God? Let’s praise Him and, you know, celebrate? God deliberately allows bad things happen to good people. It's all a part of the conspiracy.

1. Sometimes those people have not let God take the reins of their lives

2. Good people are not necessarily Gods people (its only if they have chosen God through Jesus Christ that they have hope)

3. Sometimes bad things happen and God allows it to teach us something

Why do WE allow such bad things to happen to good people? Most of the time, it's our own fault that something bad happens to us or someone else.

God allows it so that WE can grow and learn and become more like He is. So that WE can be the good people he knws we can be,and help our brothersand sisters. Remember, Jesussaid to His disciples "In as much as ye have done it unto the least of these, my brethren, ye have done it unto me!"

Good question.

And the answer must be in your question itself.

If a true compassionate individual has bad things happen, then it may be that the churches have said:
"Let Good be truly my bad and let Bad be truly my good".

Why do bad things happen to good people? That is one of the difficult questions in all of theology. God is eternal, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent, etc. Why should we human beings (not eternal, infinite, omniscient, omnipresent, or omnipotent) expect to be able to fully understand God’s ways? The book of Job deals with this issue. God had allowed Satan to do everything he wanted to Job except kill him. What was Job’s reaction? “Though he slay me, yet will I hope in him” (Job 13:15). “The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; may the name of the LORD be praised” (Job 1:21). Job didn’t understand why God had allowed the things He did, but he knew that God was good and therefore continued to trust in Him. Ultimately, that should be our reaction as well. God is good, just, loving, and merciful. Often things happen to us that we simply cannot understand. However, instead of doubting God's goodness, our reaction should be to trust Him. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Perhaps a better question is, "Why do good things happen to bad people?" God is holy (Isaiah 6:3; Revelation 4:8). Human beings are sinful (Romans 3:23; 6:23). Do you want to know how God views humanity? “As it is written: There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit. The poison of vipers is on their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; ruin and misery mark their ways, and the way of peace they do not know. There is no fear of God before their eyes” (Romans 3:10-18). Every human being on this planet deserves to be thrown into hell at this very moment. Every second we spend alive is only by the grace of God. Even the most terrible misery we could experience on this planet is merciful compared to what we deserve, eternal hell in the lake of fire.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Despite the evil, wicked, sinful nature of the people of this world, God still loved us. He loved us enough to die to take the penalty for our sins (Romans 6:23). All we have to do is believe in Jesus Christ (John 3:16; Romans 10:9) in order to be forgiven and promised a home in heaven (Romans 8:1). What we deserve = hell. What we are given = eternal life in heaven if we would just believe. It has been said, this world is the only hell believers will ever experience, and this world is the only heaven unbelievers will ever experience. The next time we ask the question, “Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?”, maybe we should be asking, “Why does God allow good things to happen to bad people?”

good question-yet even bad turns to good once we believe-
why I do not know-but I do know even for Muslims and my Jewish people and all people=Jesus said to love everyone-not the way Mohamed did a 9 year old little girl named Aisha marrying her at 40 years old according to their Hadith. the prophecies of Jesus says that He will be despised and rejected. While the Muslim says they believe Jesus is the sinless Messiah who will return to judge the earth-they reject his words for Salavation -so shine for Jesus and share his truth-I have helped as messiah says to do many muslims and many of my Jewish people to know the Messiah=the Messiah loves you heart and soul-and said to go to all the world and share the gospel. He said if they hate me they will hate you too. You have the joy of salvation and the joy of heaven-why wouldnt the others be jealous. They will say all kinds of stuff-some even say the Messiah never came and does not exist today-Millions and many here prove daily he does and is our true friend too.
He gives us the power to love those that hate us and say they are our enemies.

This is what I have to say from prophecy written before our messiah and predicting him perfectly-I say this to others to help them believe

from Adam and Eve we looked for the one to shed his blood for our sins-from their fur covering for the sins of mankind when blood was shed by God to cover them pubicly
Would you ever consider believing Moses or Isaiah?
Moses said without the shedding of blood there is no atonement for sins. Levitiucs 17:11
Isaiah said "He will be despised and rejected. He will lay down his life to make atonement for our sins. All we like sheep have gone astray, and the Lord will make to light on him the iniquity of us all. He will die with the wicked and be burried with the rich."

Just say maybe one day I will believe the Jewish prophets and become Jewish according to the Jewish Scriptures-for now I just pray for you and since G-d defines who a Jewish person is, I chose to believe Him. Yeshua said If you have seen me you have seen the Father. I and my Father are one. He is either the Messiah or the biggest liar that ever lived. I believed the former now he is my Jewish messiah and best friend.
Hang in there friend OK? thanks, Shalom=peace Isaiah 9:6 "Unto us a child will be born, a son given, and He will be the almighty God, the prince of peace." Even in the midst of tradgedy, Simply answered -I do not know but I am glad that even when people chose to go against God and do evil things God still loves us heart and soul.

Because God is imaginary. I hope the events that horrify everybody so much can shock some of the God freaks into accepting reality.
