Posting spells on here and giving advice, how crackpot is that?

The belief in the supernatural is a mere delusion no matter how you describe it.

I welcome anybody's evidence to disprove this.

The belief in the supernatural extends to any religion. How can people contest scientific fact in this day and age? This IS the 21st century.

Some people believe they are witches, other people believe in god. They're all nuts to me.

Whats crackpot is the mainstream relgions...
with their history of abuse, mass murder, repression etc

The witches ie wicca types and pagans are actually the sensible ones if you look at it.

Not sexist, not homophobic, generally peaceful, no history of inquisitions, no wacky repressive attitudes to sex or relgious wars or terrorisim.

Much of the supernatural magic is simply herbal medicine and psychology.

Ie willow back was a source for aspirin and magic mushrooms well yeah you do see things and the flying broomsticks was a stcik based cure for things like thrush which as hallucigenic hence you sit on the stick, rub between legs and feel you are flying and a relief for wahtever girlie problem you had. No magic just drugs

So called spells may have a placebo effect on those who beleive them like dumbos magic feather. Say love spells giving the confidence to apprach the opposite sex.

Im an athiest by the way so not into the supernatural.

But the wicca groups for the most part are the only dencet, nice sensible groups maybe followed by buddists

You are the nutter not witches, witch is the more common name for someone who is pagan, I myself am Wiccan which is a branch of paganism. Paganism is a belief, some pagans use spells, some don't it all depends on what you're comfortable with. Maybe you should consider the feelings of us 'crackpot witches' before you make horrible comments like these!

As there is a degree of circumstantial evidence for the powers of witches, your accusation would be better directed at those who follow the Abrahamic religions that are the biggest confidence trick ever worked on earth.

Maybe if you actually broke it down, you'd see that spells are just a Pagan's way of prayer. You're the crackpot since you obviously are too childish to do the research before forming an opinon of a group.

Witch is the name for someone who follows the religion of Wicca which is a pagan religion suppressed by the early christian priests who wanted to impose their own ideas.

What is your definition of "witch", because it has several meanings. I've never seen spells posted on here.

I am Wiccan, but I don't practice spell casting, because they can have unforeseen consequences.

And I don't see how my belief in the Goddess and her Consort automatically makes me a "nutter"

There are lots of 'nutters' who believe that they are witches. That belief system has a rather large lunatic fringe. The real witches don't have anything to do with them, but keep to themselves. At least they don't hate anyone, or go around shooting people.
