qldtravelguru havent drank for years & quit smokes 9 mths ago

I only smoked from when I was about 17 (senior in high school) until I was maybe 21 or 22 . --and this was a long long time ago --I am 52 years young. haha.
Even then it was only when I was out with friends, and maybe like 10 cigarettes a day. I never smoked at home--my dad would have had a fit if he knew. I quit because I really didn't like it --just did it to be "cool" -- and I started to realize the health concerns with it were not worth it.. Plus it makes everything on you stink so much. I can't stand that smell on other people. Yuk!

Well lets see it has been about 29 years since my last one! The same time I had my first! My older sister was smoking & I caught her, & so I wouldn't dob on her she made me have some! I was only 3 years old, but I have never smoked since so it must have worked! (she still does)!

I quit 2 years ago and am still not smoking but have gained weight!

I stopped smoking on Aug, 21st of 1996 before major cancer surgery. I asked God to take away the desire as I was smoking and promised to Him that I would quit and He did and I gave up smoking.

well truth is i only really smoked socially when i was drinking and gave this up after a year or so because i used to feel like absolute rubbish the next day because of both the alcohol and the smokes.

I did. It has been close to 10 years now. I quit when I got pregnant with my daughter.
