It's funny BECAUSE it's true!
Some Q's I've answered were so absurd that i felt they needed a similar response, but pointing out the flaws of the `q'.
Let's lighten the mood:
(a Redneck joke)
Little 13 year old Bobby was sett-in on his front stoop w/his pappy, and asked:
Gee pa, that Peggy-Sue who lives across the road, and sits next to me in school sure is pretty, don't you think Pa?
Pa: She sure is a cute thing son.
Bobby:Well I'm gonna marry her pa!
Pa: NOW hold on son! Is she still a virgin?
Bobby: Yup, I believe she is!!
Pa: Well son,... ya see, If she ain't good enough for her own family, What makes you so sure she'll be good for ours?

Not uncontrollably but it is a fun way to pass time. Some of the stuff people come up with here is just fantastic.

You have noticed what the majority of us have!
However, there are also humorous questions - or rather questions that appear to be humorous, whereas the Asker is genuine in asking it. He is by no means trying to be funny by asking it. There are also genuine answers that we might find amusing while that was not intended by the answerer. So, you find that there are just who are naturally funny - they just can't be serious. Even when they really need to find answers to their question, they won't because of humor censored by the reader.
I think we need to be sensitive when it comes to such guys - why, I don't know. Someone recently asked, "What inspired God to exist?" Now I find that question very amusing and funny...and yet, someone else will find it silly and not fitting to be asked. However, you might find that the Asker was genuinely seeking an answer, and not being funny or rude in asking.
So, we view questions differently and at times wrongly.

Generally, the only questions I answer with a humourous statement are the ones which are just plain weird. Anything which seems genuine I wouldn't make fun of, but someone asking something like "How do I get blood out of my carpet so CSI guys can't find it" is asking to be mocked :-)

some of the answers i have seen are very funny . some i am sure were written to be funny . the ones that really make me laugh are most often to do with health or medicine and how to treat some problem . some people on here mean well but the suggested treatments are really very funny .

I find the questions are funnier than the answers. Some are so ridiculous I wonder about the mentality of the writers

That's happened a few rare times but it was so funny that I laughed days after when I recalled it too. Right now, I can't remember it anymore though so it is fleeting.

What I find funny and sometimes a bit sad is the horrible grammer and the decimation of the English grammer.
