Yeah, I'm gonna get alot of flak for this.

But I can kill a kid with my bare hands if I had to an Adult wouldn't be so easy.

Hate me if you want. Join the military or shutup. It's my life or theirs.

I'd rather never see an armed child under any circumstances. What are you trying to say? Would i rather try to kill a child than an adult because it would be easier ? Or are you asking if i think that an adult would be likelier to kill me under the circumstances you have given. Pretty twisted either way don't you think ?

I'd rather it be an adult every time no matter what the outcome.

I have kids and the thought of them being involved in any way in a war is horrific.

More, much more should be done by the UN to stop countries using children to fight wars, but i doubt they will unless there's something in it for them. profit wise i mean, like oil.

right going for the child soldier.... the child might be unstable but a adult soldier would i think myself not even think but just shoot you on the spot... were a child soldier might even for a few seconds hold back or even call for his adult leader which might jut give me the edge to do some thing.....

not sure what but a chance is a chance, maybe try to rush the child and scream as loud as possible as still a child this might just make him pause, better die trying then just sitting in the mud waiting for it....
or run away as fast as i can in a zig zag way as the child soldier will fire off his whole mag in 2 to 5 seconds if on full auto...like i said a chance is a chance.. die running not pleading...

anyway keep these questions coming, do make you think.. very good...

An adult soldier every time.

An armed child might have no conception of death, pain, or right and wrong.

In Mogadishu in 1993, the US Rangers faced the problem of having to defend themselves against armed children, and this is something that goes against training ...

This is one of the modern dilemmas facing soldiers ... what is the correct response against an armed child, or an armed pregnant woman?

Bearing in mind all this, I'd prefer to face an adult as at least I might be able to try and reason with an adult... offering an armed child a mars bar probably wouldn't cut it if he's high on drugs!

Good question Mucky...

I'd rather be an Armed Adult Soldier.

I'd rather be an armed child- I could play the innocence card, and if that didn't work, I'd use the "arm"

At one point you could count on human compassion, but now you never know what type of psycho you're up against. there are people who have the capacity to kill randomly, to commit senseless acts of horrible atrocity.

I would rather have the ability to protect myself, rather than trust the other person to do whats right.

Child: Easier to disarm an armed child than an adult most of the time. If you were untrained an adult might be a more responsible captor. Armed kids tend to shoot first ask questions later more than adults.

questioning out loud or making a music to your self isn't loopy. If it replaced into, then ninety 9 according to cent of the inhabitants may be locked up. yet donning on a verbal substitute with your self does push the envelope purely a touch.

the child might be more compassionate but if he feels the need to point his gun at me he probably doesn't like me much.

Also depends on what why and what are my plans and relation to the situation. If i expect bad things on capture, it'd be more likely to escape from the kid.

hopefully a professional soldier will handle it in a professional manner.

I'd rather have a cop arrest me than some angry kid with a gun.

Definitely a child. A child could be easily distracted with a glove puppet. This very rarely works on professional soldiers.
