now he's not even on the list? what's THAT all about?

i would have just asked him, but as tuatra pointed out once, he doesn't have his profile accepting emails. (superdork said that he does so to avoid potential spam, of which i have received none, and i have been the top video games answerer for quite some time now)
as of right now, he's answered questions marked two hours ago, so i'm confident that he wasn't deleted or anything, but what happened?

i get several emails and instant messages a day from people who see that i'm the #1 in games&rec>video games and they ask me questions about games i've never heard of, or worse, questions about xbox or psp, which i know nothing about.
sometimes i even get emails saying i must have no life since i have so many best answers. they don't take into account how LONG i've been answering questions (it will be a year in a few days) - right now, i average answering 6 questions a day. yea, i guess i have no life :P

to see the top ten in a category, when you browse a page of questions, at the top it shows the person with the most best answers in that category, next to that is a link to the top ten of that category

well, he got fed up with us! But he knew to much about games and technology! But he got sooo many best answers!

I've changed my avatar plenty of times (I wish I could use the one I really like again >.<) and never had a problem. I guess we're in trouble guys. ;P Oh superdork, don't worry about any spammy emails you get laced with profanity. Do you have ANY idea how many I get a day? They're actually kinda fun. I just respond in a level-headed way, spelling properly, without swearing even once. Drives them nucking futs. XD Especially austacution, he's loads of fun.

It's Yahoo acting up again. Basically, when I changed my avatar last week, everything got screwed up. I got wiped off.
Not a big deal. R n D can have the top spot. He can be the target for others.
It's not spam that's annoying me, it's a troll (ilovetotones) who had a problem with me telling him that ROMs are illegal, so he sent me an e-mail laced with profanity. He said he wasn't looking to do anything illegal, and yet he was asking about where he can download ROMs.

I don't know, just lost my top-ten answerer, I don't know why Yahoo did that, other people jumped up and be the new top answerer in video/online games and the recreation games sections.

I know that what happened to me. I was number 7 in the list. Then yesterday I looked in the list and I wasn't even in it. Oh man I just wish I could be back in it.

I got a question. How can you find that list for the top ten answerers? Anways, it's true what he said. When he changed his avatar, it messed everything up.

Funny that, I disappeared off the rankings myself for reasons unknown.
Yahoo is upgrading Answers all the time, that probably has something to do with it.
