I've been across on the Indian Pacific, but it was many years ago.
Anybody been recently? Is it still fabulous?

I've heard The Ghan train is a little worse for wear and tear although this was 3 years ago! Went on Indian Pacific 3 years back and it was great until the sun went down, the view disappeared and the clunk-clunk of the carriages kept us up all night long. (We were in the red kangaroo class though, the reclining seats went from l to / !! lol) The best way to appreciate the true size and beauty of the outback.

Still the same great ride. A few changes to the number of stops on the Nullabor but that is about it. Have a good time. Cheers!
