If you eat the amount of calories required to maintain 60 kg, you will eventually get to that weight as long as you do not deprive yourself of nutrients that are required to maintain your lean mass.

In other words, if you do this without starving yourself, you will do well.

Here is more info about the body's requirement for calories, along with info about fat loss.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Hi,

you need to follow special diet plan until you reach desired weight - in your case it could happen from 2 to 3 months.

Read here how to destribute calories in your meal http://100abdominalexercises.com/howmanycaloriesdoyouburnwhendoingcrunches.aspx - remeber that you need calories from protein, carbs and fat. It is not healthy to eat only one of them.

Include exercises every day if you workout 30-40 mins, or 3-4 times per week if you workout more than an hour. Take these free home videos from here http://www.women-workout-routines.com/free-workout-routines.html

The main goals is to eat only good foods and to exercises regularly - this will make you lose weight.

Wish you luck :)
