From time to time, I hear commercials that contain the phrase "Not available in all states." One commercial that contains the phrase is a commercial about reducing or eliminating credit card debt. Do you have any idea why certain services are not available in all states?

They would probably have to be licensed in each state to do business and may not meet the requirements in some states.

Also, what they are pushing may be legal in some states but illegal in others.
Especially in dealing with eliminating/reducing debt. A particular company may be classified as a credit repair organization. Many, if not all, states are cracking down on CRO's for underhanded, sleazy tactics. Some states are probably just slower than others to enact their laws.
