First of all, priests do not "spray" babies with water.
Second, the holy water used during Baptism is going to feel cold to the baby's skin. This feels uncomfortable to the baby, and may even startle him/her. This is why so many babies cry as they are being annointed.

My honest guess would be the baby may not be familiar with the priest and often babies scream when held by a stranger.
The other part is that perhaps they don't like water sprayed on them. My son used to shriek when he was bathed, it's something that some babies do.

The baby could not talk or say something about his being baptized by the priest at his young age who is falsely spraying him with water which is falslely called by the priest as holy water.
He is screaming and wanted to protest what the priest is doing to him.He should have said "priest do not baptize me at my young age, I am still ignorant of any sin and have not yet committed sin against God." "You should not spray me with water on the face because in baptizing, upon reaching the age of maturity, I should be press on the water or river as Jesus was baptized in river Jordan by John, the baptist." "What I know a b out baptism which Jesus told me is that baptism is the washing of sins and yet you force me to be baptised at my young age?"
That was he was telling the priest but the preist could
not understand it that what he was doing is not biblical.
This is what John the Baptist told regarding the baptism:
jMat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Mat 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Just a couple months ago I was at my first grandchild's baptism. She didn't cry a bit. Not all babies cry or scream at baptism, and they are not "sprayed" with water either. A little bit is sprinkled or poured over their head.

How would you feel if some creepy old guy in a robe was getting you all wet? I remember my baptism and I can honestly say that it is something I do not want to experience again. The very thought of it brings back horrid memories....

Babies scream and wail when anyone but their mothers or sometimes their fathers hold them. And the water is cold and it is scary.

Well the bible says that we are born into sin....so maybe being blessed for the first time is a painful experience...like that of Jesus' death?
