I get 1-2 on an average day........it really makes me want to run to the nearest church and convert........LOL. Here's the latest mis-spelled, poorly worded, grammatically challenged note I have received.

From: Are we using our brains today

Subject: please take your medication

Message: have you ever had a clear thought or our you so clouded upstairs that you rant and rave nonsense and self indulgence ego maniac

When you receive little "notes of christian love" do you respond?

In fairness, I must say that I also get plenty that are lovely from Christians too.

Well, I am not an atheist, I am a Christian. I do not understand, however, how certain people that call themselves Christians could send you hate mail, and trust me I know it happens. Its really the stupidest thing Ive ever heard of. The only thing I can say is that they arent true Christians. Quite the opposite in fact. I say, live your life, and i cant judge you, just like you cant judge me. I guess that if its in his will for you, then it will happen. If not, then it wont. But i do know one thing for sure, you are never going to want to be a part of something that advertises unconditional love, if we, as Christians are not actually giving it. (Its late, sorry about the typos)

First I AM a Christian and as one I would like to apologize to you for the ones who are sending insults and other "hate" mail.

Second please know that many who claim the name of Christian do so because Great-aunt Betsy was a Christian or Grandma was a Christian. The fact is God doesn't have any grandchildren he only has children. Those of us who have become his children TRY to always show love and tolerance of others feelings and beliefs (the key word being try).
You are fully entitled to your opinion and I have sacrificed a part of my lifetime in defense of that right. I will respect your opinions if you will respect mine but if you make a foolish statement in phrasing a question don't be surprised by my answer poking fun at you.

IE. The last question I was on was someone who professed to be "highly urinated" and tried to blame it on us Christians... All here know (or I would hope that they do) that urination is not caused by Christians but by ingesting liquids.

I have never emailed a single soul on this website, except those who wish to correspond with me. If I were you I would contact Yahoo, and send them copies of the hate mail you are getting. That is uncalled for!

I am a very devote Christian, I have no affiliation with any particular church. I believe in answering your questions here on this forum truthfully and honestly. My answers may not set well with allot of people, but then some of there's don't with me either.

I am sorry people are doing this, it is not what Jesus would do. It sickens me to hear this again.

Jesus is Lord

I only receive hate mail when I ask really offensive, inappropriate questions. I only ask such questions to get a rise out of Christians and keep them on their feet. These questions usually end up getting deleted but I think it's worth it for the few moments of satisfaction. I respond simply by thanking them for their comments and wishing them a wonderful day...

Most Christians mean well when they defend their faith. But, too often, many make fundamental errors when dialoguing with atheists. We need to make as few errors as possible, not simply to win an argument, but to help the atheist come to a saving relationship with the Lord Jesus.

Following are common mistakes made by theists when dialoguing with atheists.

i've got no longer won hate mail, yet I even have those days began to receive what I regard as junk mail from Christian fundamentalists, asking me to "repent", and so on. I oftentimes make useful their digital mail addresses discover their way into different "venues", like paid commercial websites, credit card mailing lists, penis expansion websites, and so on. i've got faith it is the least i will do for them.

How do you know they are Christians? Do not brand all Christians because of some silly emails.

A true believer wouldn't send you hate mail, they would respond to you on here.

Hmm....I'm a Christian, and I think that it's awful that people have nothing better to do than ridicule people that have different beliefs than they do. I personally think that you should write off such people as poorly-time managing english class drop outs.

Hey, I'm a Christian. No hate here.

Keep using your mind and your reason, it's God given. He's not threatened by your opinions.

Tedd, I believe what you're describing is a "theist". Thomas Jefferson was one (at least at one time).

Heathen, I'll debate with you. I live for it.

I get around 6-8 per week.

I even had one person ask the question on why I am such a nasty person.

I don't contact Christians, trying to convert them. So I just tell them all that they are morons.
