Start thinking about something complicated, turn on a television, read a book, or create white noise with a fan and imagine yourself scuba diving in a coral reef. Just keep your mind busy and stop focusing on getting the song out of your head.

Me too! Happens all the time. And some of them are the stupidest songs. Drives me nuts.
But that's the problem. I let it get me annoyed and then there is no hope.
I do all sorts of stuff to try and stop it... even to the point where I start singing another song in my head to get the first one out of my mind.
Another thing I do (believe it or not) is to take an Allerest. Those things knock me out... big time.
I also breath through my nose and try to relax myself, but that is only a little effective.
I'll get out of bed sometimes, and walk to the kitchen or go outside on my porch for a few minutes.
The one thing I do that makes it worse, is to make myself just stop dead, right in the middle of the song. I find if I finish the song, I have better luck not singing it again.
Another thing that helps a lot..... is masturbation (I'm not kidding).

attempt some Prokofiev: Any musical vocabulary antithetical to Baroque harmonic strategies and the common melodic contours of the era will help erase the present tape, this is to be was hoping the less huge-unfold vocabulary and its sound won't 'replace' one malicious software with yet another. be absolute to come to a decision on some thing which sits in an completely distinctive tessitura, or its maximum frequently used tessitura, than your loved one bassoon. I believe Alberich basically a tiny bit, with a qualification: while you're actual a tich obsessive, any repeat repeat of a theory, including an ohrworm, could be a device to component-music you from different recommendations or thoughts which could have your interest. yet, musical Ohrworms are relatively some thing the whole worldwide is companies to: Anglo and American pop song holds the Ohrworm because of the fact the ideal objective, the 'hook' interior the pop music. commercial song everywhere strives for the Ohrworm in each ditty or little bit of topic song tied to product. p.b.

When this happens to me, I listen to the song, and it gets better. Sometimes I have to go to sleep listening to music (quietly). Try sleeping to instrumental music, or even listening to instumental music during your waking hours. At least it's not so bad when you're listening to it in your head...
