The sun is a fusion reactor

I don't think Africa has any nuclear reactors.

The closest may be a reactor in a NZ uni. Don't know if they have one or not but a few do.

South Africa have 2 fission nuclear reactors.

The USA has the most nuclear reactors... over 50.

Australia has one reactor but it's not an operational power station. It is a small research reactor based at Lucas Heights, Sydney. It would make some sense for Australia to develop nuclear power becaue it has the worlds largest reserves of Uranium.

The Sun operates using fusion not fission.

The OPAL in Australia just opened 10 days ago, and would be closest.

Earlier this year, it would have been the HIFAR in Australia, which is now shut down.
