My Question is, the food in the refrigerator and frezzer do I have to throw it all out. My wife says its ok and I say Im not eating anything out of there. who is right

i worked at a place where we had that question all the time; Food in the refrigerator lasts 24 hrs after lights out; in the freezer, 48 hrs. just don't open the doors to either much, and you'll be fine ;-)

Did anything in the freezer melt? If not, then it remained frozen the whole time, and you have nothing to worry about.
When you opened the refrigerator, did stuff feel cold or was it at room temperature? If it still felt cold, it's still ok.

as long as the temp in the fridge don't go out of temp(41 degrees)you are good .if it does,you have 4 hrs to cook it before bacteria that is harmful starts to grow to the point that it can be harmful to your health

She is right unless the temperature in your house is over 85 degrees or so.
