EL PASO, TX - A driver attempts to run over a Border Patrol agent during a routine traffic stop Tuesday afternoon.

El Paso Police tell ABC-7 the incident happened at the Alamo Auto Supply Store at 5923 Gateway West.

Officials say Border Patrol and ICE agents attempted to perform an immigration stop of two men inside a Dodge Ram truck. Police investigators tell ABC-7 the passenger of the vehicle got out but the driver drove away.

As the driver sped away, he allegedly almost ran over a Border Patrol agent. The agents then pulled out their guns and fired at the truck as it sped away.

Police say the truck was found in the parking lot of Thomason Hospital. They add that the driver was at the hospital receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries as a result of the shooting.

Police, Border Patrol officials and ICE authorities are all still investigating the matter. ABC-7 will have the latest on this story here on kvia.com and on our later newscasts.

Johnny Sutton will probably try to, if he isn't too busy molesting imprisoned, non-Hispanic juvies.

Now that's a conundrum, isn't it? What do we hope for: (A) that Johnny-boy is molesting children or (B) that he's paying attention and preying on dedicated guardians of our shores and borders?

I guess I'll hope for (C)...that johnny gets AIDS!

I've never wished that on anyone in my life. But in this case, it seems almost acceptable.

Sutton would send his mom to prison, if he thought it would make Mexico happy.
