You should find a place marked "Gain", on my old Mosfet, it's a knob recessed that needs a flathead screwdriver to adjust the gain (volume output) of the amp. You can't turn up bass individually, it just takes the info from the deck and amplifies it (hence the name amplifier). Hope this helps.

Gains ARE NOT volume knobs. Incorrect setting (up too high) of the gains may result in damage to the amp and/or the speaker.

To properly set gains:
1. Turn gains on amp all the way down, bass boost off.
2. Set EQ on stereo (bass, mid, treble) to 'flat' ('0').
3. Turn volume on stereo up as loud as you'll ever listen to.
4. SLOWLY turn gain(s) on amp up until you hear the bass distort, then back down a little.
Your gains are now set!

When you turn the volume up, the bass will be maxed out. If you want the loud bass at low volumes, turn the bass on the stereo EQ up a little. Just remember to turn it back down before you turn the volume up.

Good Luck!
