The idea that mutations are unifomarly bad is silly, even if the vast majority are. However this argument is no better, as the simple answer the simple religious folk would give ( if they could find a website to parrot it from) is that adam and eve were perfect but the diversity since then has been bacuase of degredation of dna.
The fact that a mutation is "bad" doesn't mean that it is fatal or that it won't be passed on to the next generation.
Perhaps Adam and Even were perfect, but the degredation that has happend since then has made us, dumber, shorter, blonder, etc, without killing us or stopping us from reproducing.

No, our genes HAVE mutated. The problem is, the mutations have been harmful. People get all kinds of degenerative diseases that people didn't originally get.

Here is an example: Draw a picture or write an something on a piece of paper. Now make a photocopy of it. Now, make a copy of a copy. Keep making copies. Is the picture getting clearer? Is the writing becoming more legible?

By making copies, you introduce errors. That's what mutations are. And that's how it works in nature. That disproves evolution. It's the Second Law of Thermodynamics called Entropy. Things run down. Order goes to disorder. A brand new automobile left in a garage for thirty years will start to fall apart. And a pile of junk will never form itself into a new car.

No because when two people make a new life they dna changes . it does not mutate, and were exactly are you getting this question. It's not mutation or evolution that comes from a new born child, it is merely a combining of the two DNA to make a new one, this is not considered evolution or mutation.

We should all be able to be traced back to Eve's DNA. Those damn scientists are behind this. Just like they planted all of those dinosaur bones that are conveniently left out of the bible. I smell conspiracy.

If you would like I will send you some information on,
" Did man get here by evolution or creation?" Because there is not enough room on here to explain.

My bad, but wasn't Eve's DNA taken from Adam? Wouldn't she better be named Steve? Duplicate genes from Adams rib would produce a boy.

Your question should have said MITOCHONDRIAL DNA.

THAT doesn't change unless it is mutated, and is passed down through mothers.

Will some of the creationists start talking about that?

If one is to literally believe the Bible, we are all descendants of Noah and his wife, we don't have to go all the way back to Adam and Eve.

How the HELL do you keep coming up with new questions that amaze me?

Ok - channelling my fundie self here.... here we go....

"Because when sin entered the world thru the fall of man, then things like cancer, disease and mutations also entered the world."

It's the classic "football players gambit" - god gets credit for the good (Jesus helped me make the goal) and none of the bad (Jesus made me fumble on the 2 yard line).

Why would a squirrel and a monkey have human DNA? You are making a mockery of Darwin's work, and bible writing guy's work! Shame on you!
