I would just like to post this post for prayers for all who were affected by the VA Tech incident yesterday. I beleive the family of the young man responsibile also deserves to be prayed for, I am sure they are struggling as well. May the souls of those killed, as well as that of the shooter rest in God's Glory and may the shooter be forgiven as well by our Lord and Savior.

I won't disregard anyone's answers, however, I do do my part in making a difference in other ways than prayer. Words are often times just as important as actions if not more so.
I know that actions must compliment the words and thoughts we have, but in the incidence that occurred, the only option right now is to pray for the people who are in mourning and offer them our presence and comfort. My God is good and He will help. He is amazing, and just as you tell me to stop wasting my time, you may as well save your own breath by telling me I am wrong for requesting solace in something that gives so many personal peace and do your own part to make the world a better place.. How have you done so today? Prayer is more powerful than you think, it's words turned into divine action, but those who do not believe cannot understand that so there is no point in trying to reason.
