I completely agree. It is absolutely astonishing how stuck some people (er, most people are on religion.) It simply amazes me... I guess they need something "worth while" or worth living/dying for to make their unhappy lives "worth it." People are weak, they need to be told what to do, how to live, etc. Despite all the evidence against them they are going to believe what the church tells them because without the church they don't know what to do with themselves. I'm not saying what the church teaches is wrong, but sometimes I become annoyed at how much money churches make. I have come to realize that church is a business, a dirty crooked business... *sigh*
PS: You're going to receive a lot of anti-atheism back lash for this question, I'll take some of the anger my way though.

As a Christian, I have to think that it is sad that, because I am a Christian, I have thrown all of evolution into the trash. I think that I share the realisation with many Christians that the world is constantly changing, however, there is a "missing link" that I do not believe will ever be found. I believe that the world is very, very old, possibly even millions of years. However, I believe that the human race has always been the human race, we may have looked different, been shorter, but I have yet to see any compelling evidence that humans evolved from any other biological life form.

I never went to kfc to begin...the eating of animals is wrong. I dont not believe in evolution....I just dont like science geek speakers who think they have the whole universe figured out. Science or organized religion does not kno tru meaning. There is more out there than are little minds can understand...entheogenic substances can help understanding of the universe by expanding the mind....but they can only do so much. I believe in god or something, definitely...but not as an old man in the sky. I believe there is a force at work that you can't physically account for

It is absurd that evolution is still in doubt by a few. However there are still people who say the earth is flat.
The evidence for evolution is all around. In every animal, in every plant, in the rocks and in the very essence of DNA. It only takes a person to open their eyes to the facts and put aside the blindness of faith.
...And even more serious is the problem that if people reject belief through dogma instead of through critical examination of facts then we all become totally vulnerable to abuse by corrupt leaders. This we see in aspects of Islam and fanatical elements withing Christianity.

True, evolution could have happened, but that doesn't mean God didn't. Things probably did evolve, but what create the first thing? Or the universe perhaps. You may want to think this over before criticizing it.

Scientist did not find any tissue inside a T-Rex bone. That is a lie. You are just a Christian trying to spread lies and then say Evolution is wrong. Fossils are not bones they can not have live tissue. DNA can not be taken from a fossil. Liars like you should be exposed.

Unknowingly, you are a member of the modern 'flat-earth' society.
If evolutionists used the scientific method, they would become creationists because of their findings.
Wake up. Evolution is on it's death bead as a pseudoscience. But before it goes down in public opinion, it is going to throw a royal fit.
The house of evolution is built upon the shifting sand of preconceived ideas, and hatred for God.

If the mighty & fearless T-rex evolved into chickens, then humans will probably evolve into earth worms over the next 200 million years. I can hardly wait!

Personally I don't have any complaint against evolution. I believe in Monotheistic God, and I believe even if evolution happened, it was the will of God.
Also, the fact modern human beings evolved from ancient apes is not confirmed yet.
At the same time, it is retarded to even think that evolution cancels out the existence of God.
