lol, well I used to get tylenol pm or something to that effect. Over the counter stuff. I pretty much am immune to that type of thing now. I mean, I get groggy, but I have to eat like 4 or 5 pills. That's not really healthy. So I went to the doc... prescription suff is great.

If you need something for right now... have a glass or two of wine.

I take some kind of Pm medicine. Like Tylenol Pm. works in 30 minutes. Or you could exercise more during the day to be tired enough when its time to go to bet.

Lots of things I can think cuz' I've had this problem. Take Melatonin, take a shower before you go to bed. If you have a lot of things on your mind while you are trying to fall asleep keep a note pad by your bed and write down things you are thinking about talking to some one about, or things you need to do, etc....

I write down my thoughts and feelings. Finally I know I'm getting tired and ready for sleep when the handwriting gets worse and worse the more I write.

depending how old u are, could be hormonal, if over 40yrs old. u can take melatonin. your body produces it naturally but less as u age. can take everynite. under 40? only an occasional prob.? ok to take. buy 3mg. or 5 mg. not to be confused w/ mcgs. too weak. it relaxes u so u can sleep. not a drug. good for jetlag too, and other things.

I get a boring book to read. That will make you sleepy quicker than anything. Read for about thirty minutes, and you'll be ready to go to sleep.

At home I do cross-country flights on Flight Simulator 2004 on my computer. Very time consuming and a long flight usually puts me to sleep.

My friend once made me a cup of warm milk with cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. It was delicious and soothing, plus, it won't do much damage on your diet if you're a health nut. Cheers!
