I don't understand why people don't believe in G-D?

i believe in G-D! And I have proof that he exsists! My family's buisness wasn't doing well , until I started praying every night, and now we are doing so well!
Also, my mother wasn;t doing so well, and was really sick. Every night, i prayed, and now she is doing better than ever!
And adding to that, I prayed, and soon was accepted to a really good school!
Now I pray every night, and I am doing really well! Every day, i get new blessings! And for that one guys question, we spell G-d like that because if we wrote it every where, It would be using His name in vain!

Well I'm not exactly sure what G-D is supposed to mean but if you meant GOD - it's people like you that are just too ashamed to even write his name that gets a bunch of followers to believe he is just a farse.
Why don't people believe? Well, they may have been scorned by their religion and feel they are above GOD to have to bow down to someone else's beliefs. For many ex-catholics there is the idea that the churches collect too much money and the religion in it's whole is just a money grubbing "club". Well, money is important to keep a church running and money is important to help those in need. God says to give unto others....he doesn't say you have to give him everything. Just help.
In conclusion, I don't think that MOST people have a hard time believing in GOD but have a hard time believing in a religion.

Because alot of the new age generation of teens are simple minded and read the Bible thinking that its a bunch of retards writing goofy magic stories, But you have to interpret the Bible into scientific means and they dont understand that God and Science mix.
Most of them are like, God does not help me so theres no such thing, Do you think he doesnt help cause there just being selfish or greedy.
People that dont believe in God need to look outside the Box.

Did you mean Gold diggers?
I guess people don't believe in gold digger because they like to see the good in people, and don't want to believe that the only reason people like them is for their money.

I realise that it is difficult for anyone who is only six years old but when you get to be,say, 12, you will realise that all religion is fabricated.
They are all just a collection of stories designed to introduce ancient mankind to a civilised lifestyle.
Ever since man has been able to think, he has been afraid of the unknown and afraid of the known dangers to his survival.
So, he invented gods.
This has been the pattern throughout the history of man and the current gOd is just the latest example.
gOd is imaginary.

1. we have proof of evolution
2. there is no proof of the bible
3. the bible has a lot of discrepancies
4. man wrote the bible and look how dishonest man is
5. Christians are very narrow minded and rude ppl, who would want to be like them and share the same beliefs?

Because they haven't seen a miracle or prayed for something and gotten it and most religious people had religious parents or they had a life changing experience.
