Well, you CAN since there are websites promoting online confession, but the Church does not see it valid.

Go to a Church and confess! Yes, it's scary- but don't worry too much. Even the priests have to confess, so they'll have empathy for you.

Take care & God bless!

James 5:16: "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed."

God is the only one that can forgive sin, however.

***** Clean your slate...think of all the bad things you may have done in the past...and humbly/truly ask for forgiveness..then humbly/truly forgive yourself..then immediately after think of all the bad things that people have done to you and truly forgive them...no matter how horrific it may be (murder of a loved one, fighting, harassment, abuse etc.) ...this is a must...then ask God to walk with you forever and help guide you; once you possess the faith...nothing will stop you...you can do this at home

Good Luck & God Bless

Well since religion is completely individual-faith based you can do whatever you think is correct. But if you are a strict Catholic, no.

probably not a good idea, find someone you can trust who will listen but the big thing is to say it to God and mean it with your heart, forgiveness is availible to everyone, Jesus Saves

Sure.
