Asked once but i could use all the help i can get.
I know a lot of people don't believe in praying for help but I am hoping it will make a difference. I am in need of prayer, or if you don't believe then maybe just well wishes.

Please, I am having a hard time right now with a lot of things in life. (from work, school and a broken heart....it goes on from there)

If you think I am stupid for asking this was obviously not written for you but have a good day anyway.

Anyone who wouldn't mind please remember me in your prayers. (just need some strength to deal with everything thats happening and come out stronger and happier in the end)

thanks

Question is could you say a prayer for me for the strength to handle whats going on and whats yet to come. happiness is a choice but i could use some help.

This is an inspirational email sent to me by a friend, I am now forwarding it to you.

I will pray for you

THE FERN AND THE BAMBOO

One day I decided to quit.

I quit my job, my relationships, my spirituality. I wanted to quit my
life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.

"God," I said, "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?"

His answer surprised me. "Look around," He said, "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"

"Yes," I replied.

"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the
floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And
again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo".

In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo
seed. But I would not quit.

In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. I would not quit."

Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the
earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant. But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle."

He said to me. "Did you know, my child, that all this time you have
been struggling, you have actually been growing roots. I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you. Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern, yet, they both make the forest beautiful.Your time will come," God said to me. "You will rise high!"

"How high should I rise?" I asked.

"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.

"As high as it can?" I questioned.

"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."

I left the forest and brought back this story. I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. Never regret a day in your life. Good days give you Happiness. Bad days give you Experiences. Both are essential to life. Keep going. Happiness keeps you sweet, Trials keep you strong, Sorrows keep you human, Failures keep you humble, Success keeps you glowing, but only God keeps you going!

Yes, I prayed for you. It sounds to me like you might be on the potters wheel. Sometimes God allows difficult times in our lives in order to mold us into the person he wants us to be. Just remember that the Bible says that God causes all things to work out for good for those who love Him. Just stay close to God, keep reading your Bible, going to church and praying. You will get through this storm and come out the other side all the better for it. I know that right now it probably doesn't seem possible that everything is going to work out for your good. But trust God, he is in control of everything. He has a plan and he knows exactly what he's going to do.

Remember, the Bible is your sword and prayer is your shield.

I will definitely pray for. A request for prayer should never feel awkward. If you are in the indianapolis area, Revival Temple is a good church. New day pentecostal is too. God Bless!!! Stay prayerful!!

Sylvia, this is not a stupid request. You have a positive attitude already. That plus prayer is a winning combination. I will remember you in my prayers.

Anyone who asks for prayes, should be heard.

I will most certainly have you in my prayes.

I have the "feeling" that your sorrows and concerns are kept inside yourself instead of being handled over to God.
Let go of your concerns, let God handle it, He can change your circumstances, you can't.

Keep your focus on God instead of trying to seek happieness, seek your joy in His Glory. By seekin "happieness" you put yourself in front of Him

Any time you have a down moment, pray, ask people to pray for/with you, talk to God, be among His people, seek comfort in Jesus.

Read Psalm 150 over and over again until you find your focus to be set on God.

I'd be glad to pray for you. It sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. Just keep looking up, not down, and God will see you through.
