I mean, seriously, is this an attempt to draw more people to their religion in the wake of the Catholic priest fiasco, or what? I had never really read any of their stuff before, but a question on here sparked my interest, so I checked it out. All I can say is, "Wow."

What are you talking about???

And what is this question you are referring to?

Can you post a link please?

Edit: ok, thank you. What's wrong with an organization publishing information on how to protect your child (or yourself) from sexual abuse? Elementary schools do it- why shouldn't we? We are composed of mostly families with children. Aren't they most in need of this information?

The fact is that child molestation and sexual abuse are incredibly widespread in the world we live in. Any steps we can take to protect our loved ones should be valued and examined.

There are threats in society toward children at so many levels, when it has to do with religion it appears worse
to people.Abusing a child sexually simply is what may
all they think they want society to know, but it is very much more then that in simplicity. It is a form of mind control ,
control period, our sexual physical is powerful, especially at a young age. What we are honestly atracted to ,or what forces our atraction and love are quite different things.
If not some are simply sick momentarily or perverts is quite
different still from ritualistic abuse or abuse or continuious
abuse by one we trust or a faction from high society that we
believe in or taught to in the same meanwhile...You all must understand not all abusers are simply attracted to such...
The worst that go unpunished are in it for control ,mind control....They are capable of occupying your mind....
This is complex subject..But so simple,Watch tower is mostly a "reading church"
They pose no threat to noone in that sense, they hand out pamphlets ,ring door bells and you can join never stepping foot in some church. They are like bringing church home to you ...So other then getting woke up early by a knock on my door ,I have never had no problem with that ,that I know of...
Should anyone wait a few months after a horrible news show
about a pedefile? The only news on most pedifiles are horrific
and end in tragety, are they the worst? Yes but another worst
may be more prevailent..

There has been previous "Chrisitian" preists that have molested children, or do you overlook that just to find an excuse to attack Witnesses? What about that "Christian" priest that was found to be homosexual, while zealously attacking homosexuality? I'm sorry, I didn't realize that such things can be underestimated!

Your argument does not make sense :)

Those articles are there so that Witness families can protect their children, it serves as a warning. There has been many watchtowers published about different everyday issues for the sake of the family, such as drugs:

Sounds like a well rule, what approximately the fellow? I understand of a case wherein this woman, who's a black widow spider. She has despatched extra guys to prison on trumped up expenditures. She declared her four husband molested his step daughter. I observed that difficult to suppose figuring out him. however she satisfied the woman to mention she used to be raped. Even by way of the woman used to be stated through a health care professional that she used to be a virgin. They stated good he did not penetrate. He acquired 17 years in jail after which might have got to check in as a intercourse wrongdoer. After spending virtually 10 years in jail the daughter got here ahead and stated he did not do it. Since then she has despatched four extra guys to jail, their circumstances even after this miscarriage of justice has certainly not been investigated. I have a police pal he says she is regularly calling the police any one hit her, she loves being the sufferer and crying on their shoulder. He used to be pronouncing that's the present factor ladies do to get out of a nasty marriage , to punish an untrue partner or simply for the hell of it. So why will have to a person spend his lifestyles in jail considering that she's mad? I feel they will have to have got to provide evidence. Law and Order is a funny story, they convict at the say so of a child who's mad at a step mum or dad.

Is it just me or do you seem to have a problem with the 'watchtower' publication?
It is only a magazine that is used as a bible aide and a means by which people can read real topics that face the populace today and can be offered Scriptural comfort along with hope.
Where else in this horrid wicked world can you get that?Oh yea - and they dont cost you a cent!!

Jehovah's Witnesses address many issues which concern the safety and well-being of families and individuals. It would be a mistake for them to ignore the dangers and potential for child abuse and molestation by wicked criminals in this wicked system of things.

(2 Timothy 3:13-14) But wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse, misleading and being misled. You, however, continue in the things that you learned

Of course, Jehovah's Witnesses are disgusted and repulsed by abuse, and are relieved when secular law enforcement officials successfully investigate, prosecute, and punish any criminal who engages in these terrible crimes.

Jehovah's Witnesses fully understand that their role as a religion is in providing comfort to the victim and her family, sharing relevant bible warnings with the congregation and specific potential victims, extolling Christian peaceableness and righteousness, and eventually perhaps in counseling a repentant sinner.

Government workers such as police and prosecutors are generally empowered to pursue criminal matters. Jehovah's Witnesses always work in obedience to secular law and deference to the personal decisions of victims (and their families, where practical). Jehovah's Witness ministers do not investigate criminal matters, leaving such matters to law enforcement authorities.

An unrepentant baptized Jehovah's Witness who is found guilty of a secular crime is likely to be disfellowshipped (or "excommunicated", although Witnesses do not use this latter term). However, a sin against God's supreme authority is clearly a different matter from a sin against secular superior authorities. The standards for criminal conviction and forced religious disassociation will never be identical.

Those who belittle Jehovah's Witnesses regarding this and other issues are wrong. Interestingly, such "hatred" should be expected by true Christians in this time of the end, and it actually helps identify Jehovah's Witnesses as Christ's true disciples:

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

My Wife and I are Jehovah's Witnesses and we appreciate all the information that's been printed to help protect kids all over the world. Jesus said let the young children come to me.
We know Jehovah God and Jesus love children very much.
Anyone that hurts kids needs to be exposed !!!

Kind of ironic- the JWs are an organization that is only a fraction of a percent the size of the Catholic church, and yet they have almost as many molestors!
